Back in the dark ages, I played in a woman’s basketball league with the owners, Maria Byars and Kristal Britton. I was a stay at home Mom with kids that were growing up and not needing me as much. Maria and I spoke often about the importance of brain food and in May of 2015 she offered me a “part time” position to help out with the books.
Eight years later, I am still working the books. I did take a brief sabbatical during COVID where I moved out of the state, but both Kristal and Maria welcomed me back on a part time / remote basis. Very grateful to be part of such a great team and vibrant company. It has been quite a ride.
Trixie is our 12 year mixed breed love of our life. We lost her sister this past May but are so grateful to pour all our love into Trixie. She is our energetic, smart old lady. She loves to be with her people, hates car rides and is looking forward to long runs on the sand in Holden Beach NC!
