Jocelyn Drye, Director of Accessory Merchandising

Hi!  I’m Jocelyn and I have been with Lucky Dog since March of 2023.  I have been in the volleyball world since my 2 daughters began playing over 8 years ago. My oldest, Maddy is now in her senior year at App State and my youngest, Ava is in high school and working toward her goal of becoming a collegiate volleyball player. Their club teams have traveled all across the country to play at the top level of junior volleyball.  My husband, Josh and I are just along for the ride! Our family lives and breathes volleyball and we are grateful for these experience for our family over the years.

I came across the Lucky Dog store in Orlando, FL while we were at the Sunshine National Qualifier with our youngest daughter. Out of curiosity, I wanted to learn more about this cool apparel company that provides amazing merchandise for athletes and families at these massive national tournaments. When I looked them up, I realized they were based 30 minutes away from my home.  I had to know more. I reached out and talked with Kris. She told me all about the business and her vision for growth.  I knew I would love the opportunity to work for company with this type of culture and vision.

I have been an entrepreneur for 20+ years, with experience in development of accessory brands that I created and brought to market through retail, wholesale, and e-commerce.  I also have experience in the business of volleyball, being the co-founder of a volleyball training & leadership academy for girls and young women.  Lucky Dog Volleyball was literally the perfect combination of everything I have done over the past 20 years.

I am very excited to get to work with this team and help grow this amazing company!

I have a secret.  We are cat people. Don’t worry, I still like dogs.  I grew up with MANY dogs throughout my life, but we opted for a pet that can stay home alone.

Last year we added an orange cat to our family.  Her name is Maisie.  Sometimes she is Crazy Maisie, and sometimes she is Lazy Maisie.  She has that orange cat personality for sure!
